Parental confessions

We have a play date today. School starts tomorrow. So sad. But we won't focus on the fact that I have to get back to work now that my son is back in school.

I was making lunch. And while I was willing to give my child the ugliest plate we have I found myself secretly picking out the pizza bites that I knew he would like best (he can't stand if they are oozing cheese). Not that I would deliberately ever do anything mean or selfish to my sons lovely friends but it really made me stop and think....Am I one of THOSE parents??? That is the reason why children think the sun rises and sets around them. That I would pick better pizza bites for my child over his friends. Well I must say none of them were bad or anything I'm just glad I caught myself.

What is your confession? I'm dying to know--maybe I will use it in a book (only kidding, only if you let me).

xoxo
