WOW! I can't believe how long it has been since I posted. Time flies when you are on vacation which officially started last Wednesday evening when Husband arrived home from work (Thursday and Friday he was off). Although he still managed to work a little, and it rained a lot--we had a great long weekend. And it ended with Husband coming in 3rd place in the Rocking Chair Regatta at our club. I am pleased to announce he was beaten by a girl! She really deserved to win she is pretty and she can sail. But I'm super proud of Husband--and so were the children. So much so that they darted onto the stage (where they were already standing during the entire presentation), to be in the picture. That leads me to an entirely different thought....why are my children the only ones standing up front. All the other children were well behaved and sitting in their seats. Mine, roaming around and looking like they want to be in on the glory (even if it is not theirs). Either I'm the worst parent a.k.a not strict or I've given birth to not one but 2 egomaniacs. Only time will tell.
I hope everyone has a fabulous week!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteWow! An author...I'm going to have to read your book. I dream of writing a legal thriller one day.
Thanks for commenting on my blog and for the follow! Love your blog!
Your kids are awesome! They are just proud of their dad and wanted to share in the moment.. Now if there is an article the Club's newsletter... about the proper behavior of children at Club functions then you can worry. ;) But Kids do the darnest things and keep you on your toes that is for sure.
