Surfing SC Style

Good Morning!

SC gets very stressed when January hits. It is cold here, and I feel tremendous pressure to preform-what I don't know. But the new year combined with the dreary weather put SC in a very bad mood.

In anticipation of scary dry skin, blah complexion with matching outlook on life I planned ahead this year and booked a trip to Nicaragua for a surfing and yoga retreat (The only NY resolution I can semi cross of my list) click here

Vajrasol travel puts together the trip. It is February 14th-Feb 20th. It includes dinners, spa appointments at a beautiful resort. To learn more about it or sign up (they still have plenty of room but close the trip 1-10-10) click here

Have you ever wanted to learn how to surf or do yoga? Do you need an escape? My girlfriend went last year and said it was amazing. Please join me! I'd love to surf with some of my Blends!

  2. Oh how I would love to go...surfing not so much, but yoga and spa yes...(I'm secretly terrified of water and drowning)

  3. I get very grumpy during the winter months. Great idea to take a trip!

    Happy New Year!

B vitamins also help to keep me happy. Just a tip!

  4. That sounds like heaven. Unfortunately, one of my stupid NY goals is to watch my money. That kind of trip doesn't really go with that plan!

  5. Sounds great. My father was a professional surfer. I grew up subscribing to my father's school of thought...."When the conditions are right....nothing else matters". Growing up in Hawaii leaves plenty of room to practice that. I did, however, end up repeating a grade from cutting school to go surfing. What can I say? The conditions were always right. Be careful in Nicaragua. Puerto Rico has phenominal surf.

  8. That sounds heavenly! I tried surfing when I was younger, but I wasn't even able to tackle the small DE waves at our summer house. I know you'll have a super time and I can't wait to hear all about it!

  18. I despise January! We've been in the deep freeze for days and will continue to be the rest of this week. Of course, I bundle up and still drive to town to meet my best buds for coffee and brunch or lunch.

Surfing might be a bit much for me to try, but I'd love to ride a horse on the seashore in warm weather. Heavenly!

    Have a wonderful time!

    Warm Hugs,

  29. Escaping in February sounds just perfect. There is this National Park tour of the Southwest that I am coveting right now. However, its just not in the finances. So, I'll be living vicariously through your vacation!
