Happy Tuesday

I had so much fun in L.A but came home and promptly got sick. I wanted to share my other favorite lunch place-The Ivy!  It is so floral and preppy, the food was great too.

Isn't the menu even adorable? So my feelings on "stars":
They are all not tiny in person.
They are very casual and I'm guessing if we all had the hair/makeup/stylist teams they did we would look like a million dollars at a premier
If I hadn't had One Fabulous Mom to point them out, I would not have recognized any of them
They eat at The Beverly Hills hotel to avoid paparazzi
They don't make eye contact, and keep their eyes down. They are not easy to approach.
So all in all I saw:
Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham
Demi Moore
Charlize Theron (she is TALL)
Jamie Kennedy
The Fonz, Henry Winkler
Harvey Weinstein
Run from Run's House (or Run DMC, It's tricky is like, one of my all time fav songs)

Have a great day!

  1. You saw a lot of fun people! I completely agree with you about celebrities. If I had a chef, personal trainer, stylist, etc. . . I could look like a million bucks, too. It truly does take WORK to look like some stars do. So eager to hear more details from your trip! xoxo

  2. Victoria B. isn't tiny? She looks so teeny-weeny in photos. =)

  3. Yes, she is but I mean they are not smaller in person. The pictures show them accurately. The reason she wears those skyhigh heels is she is short

  4. How neat! You look like you'd fit right in with those celebrities. Hopefully you'll be meeting many of them for your casting. Wink, wink! Hope everything went well last week on that note.

Get well soon! Traveling, however fun it may be, really is draining!

  9. A friend of mine hung out with Demi while walking her dog in Rittenhouse square.

MAybe they are more approachable away from tinseltown.

  10. I think with the help of a personal chef, trainer, and stylist that... we would all look like a million bucks too.

We do try our best though. A little eating right and regular exercise never hurt anyone and kept the doctor at bay. Have a good week!

  14. Well, I think you look like a million bucks without the personal trainer/hair dresser/etc. staff!

Hoppe you're feeling much better by today. You look lovely in the picture.

  16. How fun! I have to be my own personal chef, makeup artist, & trainer ;). But I know I have to budget for maintenance...brows, hair, nails, etc...to look as starworthy as I can afford to! Just wish I had a stylist - miss living near my fashion genius gay best friend. ;)
