Happy Socialite Sunday!

I hope everyone had a terrific weekend.

Last Wednesday was my birthday, while not a significant number/age your birth"day" always has a different feel from all other days. I'm not sure why since I spent the day running Greye to and from 2 different camps. I Did laundry, went to the grocery store, and picked up Wyn from school. It's not as if the whole day was mine to celebrate.  My adorable SIL agreed to get Greye from sailing camp and keep him until his dance that evening (his cousins joined him at our yacht club for an aloha dance). Husband works late on Wednesdays, but we managed to hit my favorite restaurant in ML-Crabby's. Where I always order the same thing, Alaskan King Crab Legs and of course I wear Lilly Pulitzer.
How do you celebrate your birthday?

  5. Hope you had a fabulous birthday! Mine was on Friday. This year we took a trip over to Galena, IL and went on a riverboat dinner cruise along the Mississippi River and enjoyed some prime rib. Nice getaway from Chicago!

  6. Birthdays should be spent doing what makes one's smile and it looks like you were smiling on yours! Where is Crabbys?

  19. I hope you had a wonderful rest of your birthday! I usually do about the same thing for my birthday too. Something a little low key...but the gifts are always wonderful...as I'm sure yours were too!

Good luck with the house! I can't imagine doing that. Hope you get some time to relax tonight, with some wine! :)

P.S. Your book needs a sequel. Loved the first. :)

  21. Happy Birthday, dear Beth! Sounds like a great time. I like to go out for a nice dinner also, maybe a day in Santa Monica, or Little India for my birthday, do something different and fun.

  22. I actually had THE worst birthday of my life this year...my birthday fell on Super Bowl Sunday, my ex-best friend and I had a giant falling out, and I spent the night in tears. Needless to say, next one better be better!

Hope yours was way more awesome than mine!
