Socialite Saturday

I'm going on vacation but thought I'd share a fun fact. If you go to Wikipedia and search The Official Preppy Handbook (my bible), I'm listed under the notes. Click Here!!! That is a huge compliment as I'm so excited for True Prep to come out.
I'll be more thrilled to read this than September Vogue. On that note, a few weeks ago an annonymous commenter said "I was so shallow I made them sick." FYI, calling me shallow is not something that upsets me, I take it as a compliment!

    I can't wait for True Prep either! In fact, I pre-ordered two copies from Amazon way back in March, and am awaiting it to arrive in September! Congrats on being listed under the notes. You deserve it!

    If you want to you can find out who posted your info in Wikipedia. It keeps track of every edit that was ever made to a page and also shows what other pages that same person has edited. It's super easy to find out who did what. Maybe anon should go add their name in there and leave you alone!

    As pointed out anyone can edit Wikipedia. What isn't clear is why you wou be relevant to that entry - sounds like you did it yourself.

    The funniest thing is taking shallow as a compliment. Or saying that an anon comment HAS to be jealous. Of what? Being mediocre and deluded isn't a recipe for envy especially when we've seen your thick, matronly waist and those hideously institutional ceramic tiles in your house.

    And what's so wrong about being shallow? Sometimes it's nice when life is so 'chill' that the most important thing you have to think about is what shoes to wear. Or what to cook for dinner. Or should I wear Lilly today or Talbots? or J Mclaughlin. Beth...I hope your days are always shallow ;)...
