I love Maine!
I first saw the beautiful state of Maine when I was 16, I lived in Blue Hill a town near Bar Harbor. My sophomore summer I lived in Camden. I've also spent a few long weekends in Prout's neck near Portland. I think Maine is the most beautiful place in the States (but I can't claim to have seen all of our states). Alaska is stunning but the weather is a major detraction, while Maine boasts lovely weather. Last week I visited Hermes in Kennebunkport where we've been vacationing together for 5 summers. We've spotted tons of Bush's, antiqued, mud walked, dined on Hermes amazing food, sat on the beach and I catch up on all my magazines. If you've never been I highly suggest you add it to your list!

It's on my list! In fact we planned to go a number of years ago so I called the Maine tourism people and they told me they would send me all sorts of information so we could plan our trip. They never did. So we didn't go there. We went to Vermont instead.
