Friday we went to The Melting Pot for fondue and watch car racing at Boardwalk hall in Atlantic City. Interesting.
Saturday we shopped for new outdoor lighting, I think I'm going for a nautical light. I'll be sure to share pictures once they're here.
Sunday we met my parents at Flemmings for the most delicious steak dinner.
And of course I popped into my favorite preppy store in Avalon.
Collars up
A preppy store? I had no idea such a thing existed!
ReplyDeleteFlemings has the best steak EVER. Love it!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good weekend to me. Food, wine & shopping!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic weekend...let us know what you got at your preppy store! Just about to write mine up - skiing as usual - snow arrived eight inches then melted into Tahoe Sierra slush...
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to your very lucky husband!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good weekend!!! What a fun store!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fabulous weekend!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Flemmings too!
ReplyDeleteSugar if I lived near I would come in and cook for y'all! Lordy, I love to cook! Just took a homemade apple crumb pie out of the oven 5 minutes ago. I won't eat a crumb, but my hubby and daughter will be in hog Heaven!
Love,
Mrs. Kindergarten
Can't wait to see what outdoor lights you get! My project this spring is our patio and I could use all the great ideas I can find... Is the Preppy Palm on online?
ReplyDeleteMmmmmm. The Melting Pot is a fabulous way to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteWe like the Melting Pot and Flemings too...but the Preppy Palm??? I think I want to go there!! Sounds like FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the Melting Pot but love Flemings even more. Sometimes I really can't stand living in a town that doesn't have places like Flemings, Sullivan's & PF Chang's. Which merely means I need to travel more, right?
ReplyDeleteThe Preppy Palm is a new one to me, but it sounds like it could be fun with little umbrellas in the drinks. I could do that....
Melting Pot... Yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun weekend, Beth. That store looks adorable, reminds me of a Lilly via shop I like in Overland Park, Kansas.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous I've always wanted to go to the melting pot. Was it all that and more :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a busy, but great weekend. That store looks fabulous!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful weekend! I love the Melting Pot!
