Monogram Monday

I sort of love Mondays. Not sure why, maybe its the fresh start feeling. Or everyone is back at school, I have time to myself and can get organized. But I love it! This week they are having Dr. Seuss at Wyn's school. It is so cute, they wear clothes backwards and silly socks, have a book fair and other cute things to get the children to love to read. I didn't develop a love of reading until I graduated from college. Then I wrote a book, how funny. What about you? Do you love to read? Have you always?

I also love inspirational quotes

"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere." Albert Einstein

  2. I read some when I was younger... I always either loved or hated it! But I didn't really LOVE to read until after college like you when I had time to read what I wanted instead of what I was assigned.

  3. My love of reading stemmed from something quite humorous. As an 8 year old, I had to wear head gear at night...it hurt so bad I couldn't sleep, so I would stay up all night reading to take my mind off of it! Haven't stopped since! I had quite an awkward stage to say the least!

Dr. Suess is one of my favorites though! I will surely read his books to my family, when I have one! Hope you had a great birthday weekend!

  8. I love your cosy picture!
I never really liked to read when I was young. After I graduated I started to really enjoy reading. I do seem to read more books in the summer for some reason. Never seem to find the time in the winter.

  9. What a sweet pic with your little guy! I've always been a book lover, which naturally involved to being an English major and writer. My kids celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday at their schools last week. Such fun!

I LOVE reading... I often check out a dozen books from the library at one time. But I rarely find the time to read all those I check out!

  17. I always loved to read. But in second and third grade (the teacher followed us that year), we had an excellent teacher who read aloud to us every day after lunch. The Chronicles of Narnia, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That was probably the point where I was completely sold.

  18. I've always been a voracious reader although the newness of the internet stopped it for a while. I'll always love reading & the places it takes me...

  19. My love of reading is fairly recent. It started when I had kids and would read to them every night.I realized I should probably read an adult book and see if I liked it as much as a childrens book. I find its a nice a little escape now.

  22. I'm always in awe of those who find the time to read. I no longer have time to look at a magazine! I miss my days in NY when I took the bus to work and could read.
