Hello. I had a preppy item all picked out for today's post and now can't find the camera the picture is on. But I will say I've been doing some major shopping at Lilly Pulitzer, over the phone though. I find the fall/spring a hard time to dress. You want to be festive and in the season but it is also so cold. When we do get a warm day I try to collect long sleeve dresses
This dress is from Lands End Canvas.
Wyn finally got his cast off but is still not walking well. He starts Physical therapy next week and begun taking the bus this week (his choice). So I'm slowly getting my life back. I actually went to the gym and now can't walk.
What do you collect to dress for the spring season but not always warm temperatures?

I have that dress too! I actually shortened it and took it in a bit. So comfy...
ReplyDeleteI've seen MCW with that dress on in pictures. CUte!
ReplyDeleteI swap out the Petit Bateau tees for button downs and lose the RL cashmere circle sweaters that are this close to walking themselves to the drycleaner...XXOO
ReplyDeleteI am behind the times, as I always seem to grab a Juicy Couture hoodie. But I also grab a cardigan when I am more dressy so maybe the classic balances it out? LOL!
ReplyDeleteRalph Lauren makes some wonderful knit quarter length sleeve tops that work well in transition. It's still cold here!
ReplyDeleteAren't you cute in your Lands End Canvas dress! Adorable! :o)
God bless ya and have a marvelous day sweetie!
Cardi's and fun shoes!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute dress. I agree the spring is hard to dress for. I have been purging my closet lately and getting rid of stuff I don't wear. Gotta make room for some cute new things :) Glad to hear the cast is off.
ReplyDeleteCardigans and flats... and I try to rotate some color into my routine! After winter full of black, grey and brown (with a splash of red), I am ready for something brighter. LOVING all of the aqua and green for this season!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in NYC...flats, light sweaters and light scarves. In Miami...its artificially cold all the time...so I seem to wear the same types of things.
ReplyDeleteGlad the cast is off--cheers to getting back on track with things. xoxo
Cardigans and jeans. I don't dare show my legs until they get some color on them!

Great dress!
ReplyDeleteI am so into stripes for spring!

I wear trench coats, light cashmere in soft colours. I also pick up a few trendy pieces but typically opt for classic pieces.

In the spring I wear a lot of cardigans as well as three-quarter sleeved shirts. By the way I like the way you accessorize your dress, very chic.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy day

Love the stripes. The only way to do any season here is with loads of cardigans which have turned out to be the most practical purchase ever. Just got a great 360 one that I haven't taken off in two weeks (oops)
ReplyDeleteI definitely load up on my Jackie Cardigans from J.Crew! I adore them.
ReplyDeletebtw I'm doing a fun post centered around my readers :)I hope you can stop by and decide if you want to take part!

Adorable!
ReplyDeleteJcrew tanks with embellishments and their cardigans! They are both great for layering and all of the in-between weather! xoxo
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Pretty lady!
ReplyDeleteI hope your bones are better soon!! No pain no gain, right? LOL
Have a great weekend-
XO
Cardigans, cardigans, cardigans!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely!
ReplyDeleteVests (see my OOTD) are good for such weather!
I just got a similar J. Crew dress! My mother was doing a little Crew ordering over the phone for me today...
ReplyDeleteI've seen that dress so many places on the internet in the last few days! I think it's a sign from the universe, really. In the spring (especially since it's such a brutal transition time up here), I do cardigans, cardigans and more cardigans. That way, if I am in a situation where it finally DOES warm-up, I can strip a layer off.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the bright springy colors right now, I can't wait until it's warm enough in MN to break out the sandals!
ReplyDeleteXOXO
Love almost anything Land's End!! Your dress looks so nautical too...love it!!
ReplyDeletemy favorite transition piece is my burberry quilted jacket. it's warm enough to wear in winter with a sweather and some layers, but light enough to wear in the warmer spring and also fall days!
ReplyDeleteYou look smashing in your striped dress! Have a great week. xx
ReplyDeleteI'm SO with you on this! In the fall, it's still hot as blazes but summer clothes are out. Then in Spring it's still cold but winter clothes are passe. It's enough to make a fashionable girl wacko...
ReplyDeleteI do like your dress though!
