My son's are still on spring break. The weather is like summer. A few more days and a few more play dates, I think I'll live. Saturday it poured which led to the Easter Egg Hunt to be cancelled. Instead we went to an indoor rock climbing wall. I've rock climbed in Colorado at the Garden of the Gods (I think that is what it was called, I was visiting a friend at Colorado College) and with Husband in Alaska.
Of course I wore Belgian Shoes! So today I'm grateful/love my health. Without it none of this would be possible!

Look at you! This looks so fun! Yes! It is called Garden of the Gods! Pat and I played there a whole day when he was at Air Force for a semester...isn't it just amazing! We truly are so blessed with health and family!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Easter!
As her husband, I can assure you all that I had a very tight grip on the rope. And honest judge, the knife just slipped and cut the rope

Indoor rock climbing sounds like a blast! I have never been, but I would love to do it some time! :)
ReplyDeleteHUSBAND! You bad boy. You didn't have a knife, nor would you need one. You are just upset about Tuscany and your "rock holding," spring break status!!!

OOo fun times!
ReplyDeleteAlso, just saw your comment on Prepublican from last month and I responded back to ya there. Just an FYI. :)
xoxo.
Rock climbing is so much fun, there used to be a rock climbing wall in our mall a long time ago and if you made it to the top (it was a difficult one) you would win 20 dollars! I haven't been since and that was over 10 years ago. I can't wait to have kids and schedule play dates and fun for them during Easter and stuff. It sounds exciting.
ReplyDeleteJealous of your nice weather, although it sounds just as bad as our's rain-wise. Looks like you had fun rock-climbing!
ReplyDeleteRock Climbing sounds like an absolutely lovely alternative to egg hunting, really :) What a fun way to spend time with the family!
