Socialite Saturday

If I can't drive Bunny I don't want to go. For my mid life crisis Husband gifted me a convertible 2 seater. It doesn't have much trunk space and can't hold my family. But I love it! It's gotten to the point that I buy less at the grocery store so I can still drive her. Am I demented?

Do you love your car? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I've named the car. We say things like, "I put Bunny in her cage." And, "I put Bunny's hat on."

Collars up

  1. I completely understand, enough said!

  2. Ha, I love my car, too! Totally had to prepify it with a VV whale sticker, too.

  3. I haven't named my car but I've named the woman who speaks for my GPS! haha

  4. Bunny is adorable and who needs room for groceries in a two-seater... as long as there's room for the Veuve!

  5. You just look too cute in that car.
I love your last couple of posts too about New York. You look so cute in your Lilly and I love all of the places you went to eat too!!!

I haven't been on the computer at all but I am going to check your blog everyday as you make me smile and laugh and feel good!!!

  6. Yep, I fear I do. It all started with my little Rambler Station Wagon "Daisy" back in 1970. That's the year I went to college, the year I joined a sorority and the year my small town self entered culture shock!

You and Bunny look like ya'll make quite the run about team!

God bless and have a fabulous day my friend!!!

  7. No. I don't like my car at all (Toyota 4 Runner) but I once had a gold 280zx 5 speed that I adored until I got preggers & could no longer reach the foot pedals. If my children only knew all the sacrifices I made for them...

  8. I used to have a beat-up Vintage suburban named 'Dixie'. I LOVED that vehicle. It smelled like horse blankets and wet dog and I drove it even more than I did my 'good' car.

Talk preppy to me! xoxo
