Monogram Monday!

Hello and I hope everyone had a terrific weekend. My new obsession is I want to try acupuncture. Has anyone done it? Did you love it?

They are very hard to see but I'm wearing adorable boat anchor earrings from Kiel James Patrick, they went perfectly with my Lilly Pulitzer shift and Tory Burch navy blue clogs (sorry the whole outfit isn't in the picture).

  1. I started with acupuncture this past August. I have a session about once a week. I feel so much better after I have been there. Unfortunately it is not covered by my insurance but I do it instead of medication (I was diagnosed with an anxiety issue this past summer). I am much calmer and a bit more relaxed. It has helped in the way of sleep too (while I still don't sleep all the way through the night I do sleep for longer intervals). I say go for it. But one suggestion make sure that the acupuncturist is licensed and knows what they are doing.

    All the best.
I actually look forward to it.

  5. I've done acupuncture - to regulate my cycles. It worked for me in the past and I'm doing it again. It's very relaxing and I try to meditate during my sessions. My mom did acupuncture for a thyroid issue and it helped her as well. I highly recommend it!

  10. Adorable pic - love the outfit! Yes, I have tried acupuncture and swear by it. I did it for over 6 months and it really helped my health problem. I ended up having surgery - but that was by choice. It is relaxing and I never felt one of needles. The needles are teeny tiny and with a good acupuncturist you really shouldn't feel anything. My therapist followed with a light massage. Gosh, now I think I might have to schedule a session for the relaxation part of it. Thanks for "jogging" my memory. Good luck - give it a try!

  11. What a cute picture of you two! I haven't ever tried acupuncture but I've been thinking about trying it to quit smoking. Something has got to be better than Chantix!

  12. Sweet photo of you both!! I get acupuncture every couple of weeks for pain in my legs and back ... it does help. It works on opening the meridians in the body. It is not painful (generally speaking) there are areas that are quite sensitive. I would make sure the person who is working on you is fully credited. Good luck ..xo HHL

  17. Love Lilly Pulitzer, pink and green are my favourite colours! I think I know the dress you are wearing and it's gorgeous. thanks for reading my blog and commenting. I love to hear from other people and I am happy to know you are not committing a serious fashion crime that far to many fall victim to. Don't forget to tell your friends about me as we are just getting started. XX
