Hello Loves. You are all so sweet. So many people checking in on us during the storm! We've been very lucky. We had some flooding in our garage and crawl space. Our airconditioning system and insulation were damaged and will need to be replaced. My "mom" car isn't working but otherwise we are fine. The house is up and running and my frat boys are healthy. It's times like this when I'm reminded that human mankind is basically kind and caring.
My SIL house was flooded around 3 ft on the 1st floor. She has to fly here from India to re build. Another friend of mine's beach front home was trashed. The storm blew through her house and is now left standing without doors/windows/deck. So as you can see, we have no complaints about Sandy.
The boys had a perpetual play date/sleep over at friends off shore and will celebrate Halloween on Monday.
