I watch TV for the clothes!

We had a lovely time at the soiree last night! So fun to look at a new beautifully decorated house.

I finally watched Mad Men. I found show 213 or something like that on demand. I plan to watch the newer ones tonight or tomorrow. It seemed like a sad episode. The pretty blond is pregnant, does not want to be and her husband is living in a hotel. She is so chic--love the hair and all of her clothes. She rides horses and looks very bleak throughout the entire show. Since I haven't a clue what is going on I don't even know where to begin to ask questions. She randomly slept with some man at a bar--that totally through me off. Did she know him or not? It seems like a dark show. And they are always drinking at work. Now that cracks me up. I guess that used to be the way it was but how did anyone get anything accomplished?

Hope everyone is having a good Thursday. It is positively fall here today!

xx

  4. Love your Mad Men summary. All you need to add is that one girl has a job like the boys and you have got it!

  7. I haven't even heard of that show, so I'm no help! I'm a True Blood, Dexter, Weeds, Big Love, Entourage kind of gal, LOL! The only thing I really watch on the networks is Brothers & Sisters, the outcasts of American Idol, and Survivor.

I just finished reading your posts on this page and Yup! I love your blog. So, consider me your newest stalker...

  12. Your so funny. I just stared watching Mad Men this season. I actually have thought about finding a seamstress who could make a few outfits like those on the show. Think it would work?

  13. I don't watch it often, but I do like the fashion in it. I also like that not all of the women are twigs.

  14. You have to start from the beginning of Mad Men. The characters are really complex. It's an addicting show but dark.

  15. If they're drinking at work, I'd like to know how to get that job! LOL Not really. Who drinks at work? You're right! Who'd ever accomplish anything. I'm having fun reading your blog!

  16. I can totally relate, only I watch for the interior design. Case in point, I love Brothers and Sisters but often get caught up in Nora's house instead of the dialogue.

I've heard great things aboout Mad Men. I'll definitely have to check it out.
