Happy Socialite Saturday!

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments! I'm an insecure baby and you all make it all better like the best boo boo bear I've ever had. I think everyone in the whole world should blog. I count my lucky stars everyday that I started!

So the preppy war has started with the Preppy Mafia! Please feel free to join us. I am going to preppify my sister in law one monogram at a time.

I totally missed my 100th post anniversary. Woops! But I'll celebrate BIG when I hit the 1 year mark.

It is a snowy blizzard here today. So pretty. Sadly we are missing our dear friends party because I would never ask nanny to drive in this.

First we snuggled by the fire in our jammies

Then, we ventured outside to enjoy the snow. Secretly I was excited to wear my new Lands End matching vest and boots with fur trim!


I love this sign. I had it made for Husband as a Christmas gift one year. On another slightly sadder note... I'm official New Jersey WT. (note:I grew up in a beautiful town outside of Philadelphia but moved here for Husband) After several glasses of wine I was tricked into becoming the new Secretary of Riverview Estates-our home owners association. But I will persevere and add it to my resume!

    Love the snow-day fun and if you are WT, I don't even want to know what I am- you at least have the fortune of living on the East Coast- I live in the Upper Midwest where if a girl knows how to put chains on to tires for inclement driving conditions and how to field dress a deer, she is a catch. Two things I don't know how to do- thank GOD!

    PS- love the white vest, is there anything better?!

    Just another notch on your belt girl! Don't you just look too cute in your preppy little snow outfit? Ya should see me in the cold elements on the Ponderosa....Carhartt hoodie, Carhartt coveralls, barn boots, and big fat cowhide leather lined gloves it's just a sad unpreppy sight! The bonus is that with all that paddin' when ya slip and fall ya just bounce back up!

    We all like to feel the love and there is so much of it in the wonderful preppy blogging world. These girls are the best! :) In the high 70's here. I would love to have some seasonal weather but I guess this is it for us. Have a good day snuggling.

    Had to catch up on your blog posts - I've been so busy-busy! Love the bit about the HOA appointment. . . just think of it as fodder for your blog and go with it!! And I have also been busy with preppifying our family - one monogram at a time! Oldest boy is getting monogram boxers from Santa - it's time! Needlepoint belts are next!

    I love the by the fire pictures. I currently live in Philadelphia. Right now the snow is still pretty, glittery and enjoyable. The block has begun to dig out sidewalks and cars. I know it in a day or two it will turn to a gray, mushy mess. Oh, I wanted to tell you I would love to review your book sometime. Just let me know where to find it.
