Fashion Friday!

Hello Preppies! I hope this blog finds everyone excited for their weekend. I know I am.

Last night I celebrated in pink at the kick off for the Shore Memorial Leaders Alliance 4th season. I'm proud to say I was one of the very first to sit on the executive committee and chaired the 1st gala. They raise money to support the new childrens wing. Husband and my babies were born in that beautiful hospital overlooking the ocean. I've taken a year off from "officially" being on any boards. I grew tired of doing a ton of work, for free and it some times  not being appreciated. That does not mean I don't attend, donate or fund raise for charity in 2010, just won't sit on a committee. It's almost like the week I was not on the internet, or if I was told no more cocktail dresses-committee anonymous! I wore my new pink ring, with my Kate Spade dress.
We had a great party! What are your weekend plans?

xoxo

  3. Yes, I know. I'm an outfit repeater. Will wear dress around different groups of people for a year, retire it for a few seasons and then start wearing it again.

  8. You look wonderful! I think that maybe*** this next year I will follow your lead and just retire for a season (actually "gifted" my biggest volunteer position to a wonderfully talented lady yesterday...yippeee) and just enjoy the experience for a while. We all need time to recharge!

***maybe meaning I must say this over and over to keep myself focused on not focusing!

  21. Very cool. Shore Memorial was the hospital I was born at. I have always wanted to go to the Pool but have not been yet.

  22. What a lovely dress. And the pool in the background suits you just fine, too :)
I was just sorting the laundry into neat little piles and thought how nice it was to have a daughter - I always have a 'pink only' pile now.
