I've always wanted to share my charm bracelet as I'm obsessed with others and why/what's on them. Where they got their charms and what they mean. But before I do I have to introduce you to my Aunt--Main Line Photo Mom. She started a beautiful blog CLICK HERE!!!! She isn't even my aunt, and really she is my husbands cousin, but she goes out of her way to be so kind to me, I just love her. Of all of my "family," besides my parents she has been SUPER supportive of my writing career. Check her out and tell her I sent you.
Of course I have the obligatory monogrammed discs with my marriage, and childrens births. I'll start on the left with a few of the more interesting pieces: the crab is my birth sign--I also like eating them, panther with ruby eyes (gift from someone other than Husband--shhhhhh), Kat key island charm because my grand mother used to live there, a sail boat, a charm that has a book on it with my title and publishing date, tennis racket (like surfing I do it, not well and only with an instructor). What's on your charm bracelet?

ReplyDeleteMy wife has wanted anice charm bracelet for some time. I should probably use this inspiration to make her day.
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with your charm bracelet I LOVE all of the gold discs! I got my grandmother’s charm bracelet when she passed away. I always remember asking her what each charm meant when I was a little girl...I would never get sick of hearing the stories. I am also a cancer and like to eat them too! xx

Hmm...let me think...on my charm bracelet. I'm not wearing so I have to picture it in my head. A basketball for my son, a gymnast for my daughter, a crown commemorating my year as Mrs. Missouri, a jumpine horse for riding English, and cowboy boots for riding Western, a microphone, and a house. Oh and my dream vehicle. A vintage truck charm.
ReplyDeleteYour bracelet is so cute! I absolutely adore mine and wear it every day. It's actually my mom's bracelet with a few of her charms including a jade elephant, a mother disc and a little girl head sillouette with my name and birthdate engraved. I also have baby shoes for each of my four kidlets with their names and birthdates engraved on the bottom. The shoes also sport their birthstones. Thanks for such a fun post!!

ReplyDeleteAh, I love charm bracelets - I have one that my mom started me when I was little, so I've been collecting charms from various places we visited and celebrations in my life for over 20 years! I did have to upgrade to a larger bracelet, but I passed my original bracelet down to my youngest cousin with a new charm so she could start her own :)

ReplyDeleteI love charm bracelets! I have my grandmother's from when she was a little girl, and I truely treasure it. She bought me one years ago, and bought the charms to go with it. I haven't worn it in years though, but keep it in a safe spot in my jewelry box!
