I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a political fund raiser at La Veranda, a restaurant on the water in Philadelphia. I had to share my newest love--a Lilly Pulitzer sweater. Black sweaters are a key staple in my wardrobe. The ones I currently wear are getting up there in age. So investing in a new cashmere cable knit from Lilly Pulitzer was a no brainer. But the best part is how it wraps around the neck, it reminds me of a retro 60s look which is my absolute favorite fashion era.
Do you have a closet full of black sweaters? What is your wardrobe staple?

After being in Italy, my closet is slowly filling up with all kinds of black wardrobe items. Those Italian women (at least in Rome) really have it all *going on*, which I've decided is going to be my new *go-to* look.
ReplyDeleteBesides, if you look good in it then you have a responsibilty to yourself to run with it, LOL!
I ADORE black sweaters! My favorite is my black cashmere twinset...It just goes with everything!
ReplyDeleteI love black sweaters too :) Black anything really, I love bright colors but black is such a CLASSIC color! My wardrobe staple would have to be my leather jacket, I wear it everywhere and with everything.
ReplyDeleteAs a New Yorker, I cant get through a single season without black (including summer!). Lovely wardrobe staple you're donning.
ReplyDeleteLove that sweater - you look fab!
ReplyDeleteYou look marvelous darling! :-)
ReplyDeleteNo sweaters around here yet, we went to the beach yesterday! 80+ degrees still! XOXO
