Or I'll call it Winfield Wednesday. Oh my gosh, if you read my blog because of its shallow content feel free to not read it this week. I'm a mess. The funeral broke my heart but it is already broken. My baby turned 6, yep I no longer have a baby and I'm crushed. I've been crying all week. I begged Husband for another baby but he says, no. I promise to put on my big girl pants next week and deal but this has been one of the saddest weeks of my life. I love you Winfield! You make me laugh, and smile.
You go kiddo! Mommie's cheering for you!

ReplyDeleteAh, happy birthday to your Winfield - love that name! My daughter turned 6 in March and my son (my baby) turned 4 last week. It's tough, isn't it? Although, at this age, I don't think I could handle a newborn again! Also, my sympathies on the loss of your friend. I'll keep you, her family and friends in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your adorable Winfield! You still have several years of enjoyment left. But they do grow up much too fast. My sons are now 50 and 51. That means, they're older than me! lol. They now have taken on the role of being my Dads!~ Have a great Thursday. xox
ReplyDeleteAw, very adorable! I'd say you still have some of your best years with your sons left!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your friend! I lost my BFF of 26 years 8 years ago and still miss her like crazy!

You are an amazing mother, and sad weeks happen to the best of us. I was immensely emotionally drained after last week, death of a friend, and helping a friend through a bad break-up. I say, chin up---enjoy your boys and have a drink. xoxo
ReplyDeletehope your week gets better asap.
ReplyDeletethinking of you!

Lady, you're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing right now, which is acknowledging the grief, putting one foot in front of the other, and taking joy in the things that bring a smile to your face, even if it feels like it's Too Soon.
ReplyDeleteKeep your head up.
sending well wishes your way....

ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU HANDSOME LITTLE DUDE!!!! :O)
Funeral??? I've been outside all week workin' in my flower gardens away from the computer and all it's pixels. Guess I better read backwards( I'm talented that way) here a bit.
God bless and have a fabulously preppy happy day! :o)
Oh, I sooo understand. I am almost BEDRIDDEN with grief....my William started driving by himself this week. He has driven to school every single day. It hurts like crazy and of course even though he is a good driver I still worry sick about him. It's time for both of us to 'buck up' I guess. But it sure is hard.
