Happy New Year! I trust everyone had a terrific time. We visited Stowe, Vermont for some skiing. Every now and then I like to take a break from the internet. We don't have the day off today, boys are back at school/work so I'm compiling my To Do list. Besides making annual doctors appointments I do a few other cleaning projects around the house. Not sure why but January always seems like the time to tackle mundane projects. Do you make resolutions? I find they are hard to stick with.
What do you tackle in the New Year?

How wonderful to have spent time in Stowe! It's my favorite place in the world, as it is my home town (altho I don't live there anymore). Where did you stay? Where did you eat? What did you do for fun?

I like to organize things in my home and try to get rid of as much clutter as possible. Anything to avoid a diet!

Dearest Beth,
ReplyDeleteOkay, did return the favor and follow you back! You have a great blog with nice, short and pithy posts! Wishing you all the best for 2012 and in answering your question about New Year's resolutions, no we don't make them! Just stick with daily discipline is far better. Health is the most important thing we all posess.
Love to you,
Mariette
We spent Christmas at Stowe....left on the 28th...must have just missed you.
ReplyDeleteWe are organizing the house today, washing bedding, cleaning out bookbags, cleaning the stove and all sorts of boring stuff. I don't make resolutions either, I try and keep broad goals in mind though. I can't make a promise to myself that I will do something daily though because I am bound to forget.
