Life of the party!

Birthday presents for children. These are tough. If you don't know exactly what they currently "into" it is hard to pick them out. I do a lot of gift cards so they can pick what they like. But then that seems so boring to just give a gift card. I'm off to shop today to try to figure that out.

This week has been a ton of doctor appointments. Not just for me but for my children. I can't wait to have them all under our belt--at least for this year. Then they will start all over again in January.

I love these wine glasses. They are so pretty. Cheers to everyone to have a lovely weekend!

  1. We would always make kind of a theme gift. Like a summer birthday might get a new beach towel with a beach ball and sunscreen. I hope the doctors appointments leave you all with a clean bill of health! Have a fun time shopping!

I agree children are tough to buy for. Good luck finding the right gift.

  3. We often go the gift card route, but we try to pick different stores. This year we've given gift certificates to the movie theater with a candy bar as the card holder.

  4. I always have my children come with me to pick out the birthday gift because they know what they child likes or has. A theme always works out for us; movie passes or gift certificates for the popcorn and candy.
    Love the wine glasses!

  9. I always find it MUCH easier to shop for my nieces than my nephews. My 15 year old niece loves all the "artsy" stuff I have bought her on Etsy :)
