I love The Life of a Suburban Princess! She nominated me for this award. Thank you gorgeous!!! If you don't already read her please check her out at http://thelifeofasuburbanprincess.blogspot.com/ She is totally FAB
Here are the Rules for this award:
1. Thank the person who nominated you for this award.
2. Copy the logo and place it on your blog.
3. Link to the person who nominated you for this award.
4. Name 7 things about yourself that people may not know.
5. Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.
6. Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.
7. Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know they've been nominated.
Things you may not know about meeeee......
1. I agonize over these because I'm sure I've told you everything!
2. I smoke--please don't hold it against me. I never do it in my house or around my children.
3. I'm obsessed with my looks. There I said it, I don't want to grow old. I have a vigilant facial routine. I've tried botox but it was not for me so I'm all about prevention
4. I pluck my eyebrows in my car--the lighting is much better than my bathroom
5. I worry constantly that my children will be abducted, hurt, die and all sorts of irrational things that make me a neurotic parent--you've seen me in target telling my children never to leave my side/talk to a stranger/to run away screaming if anyone touches them. Yep I'm THAT mother.
6. I was a debutante. I curtsied in front of 1000+ people
7. I lived in Zimbabwe and wore Laura Ashley the entire time--again I'm sure I've told you all this before.
Sorry to be so boring. I always think of fun things to post when I'm out and about but never write them down. Once home I become plain Jane and can't think of anything witty to say. But I nominate:

I just became a follower from the other blog you nominated! Thanks:)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was little I used to worry ALL the time that I was going to be abducted! My mom would leave us in the car while she ran into the convenience store and I would hide under the seat!
ReplyDeleteAnybody who has curtsied as a debutante and plucks their eyebrows in an auto is So Not Boring!!! Thank so much for the award, I so appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteHi!! Loved your list! Congrats on your fabulous award and to the lovely ladies you nominated!! Hope you have a great week! xo
ReplyDeleteYou need to fill us in on your vigilant facial routine. I just had a birthday and really need to start one.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award!
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for following my blog!
ReplyDeleteI would much rather hear that you're That Parent than the one who totally neglects her children, smokes in front of them, lets them do whatever they want and doesn't teach them to be cautious, responsible young people.
Thank you!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment! You lived in Zimbabwe? That's awesome. Even more awesome about the Laura Ashley outfits :)
ReplyDelete-Jane @ brunchatthebeach.blogspot.com
congrats on your award! And to all the lovely ladies listed :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats for your award!!!
ReplyDeleteYour facts weren't boring at all. They were very interesting actually. Oh gosh I don't blame you for being a protective mom. So much horrid stuff goes on in this world, that you really have to be protective these days. I don't have kids but whenever I imagine myself having them in the future, I even start to feel paranoid about things like that!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award. :)
I am new to your blog, so it was all news to me until I read it all! I don't blame you for being a protective Mom. I'm sure I will be if/when I have children. Better than the alternative for sure!! XOXOX - BB
ReplyDeleteWow that is awesome! I am glad you got an award because I think you are awesome. I too am alway worrying about my son... Its because we are moms.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Beth!!!! CHEERS! Michele
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to know that I am not the only mother who (I will sugar coat it) "worries way too much"! :) :)
ReplyDeleteHere's a big old Ozarks CONGRATULATIONS to you! Thanks for sharing your deepest secrets with us. Awesome list! Take a bow and enjoy your award.
ReplyDeleteHave the best day!!!
I didn't know you lived in Zimbabwe!
ReplyDeleteHey I lived in Zimbabwe too for three years as a volunteer and I loved it. Protecting our loved ones is truly natural. I struggle with protecting my loved ones in the short term versus protecting them in the long term by letting them learn from their mistakes and choices. It is such a fine line, but it is done with love. Thanks for visiting my blog and becoming a follower.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by my blog and what a treat to come to yours when you post a meme..love it! I raised my kids through cotillion and totally understand the debutante curtsy...although not 1000! Better being a "THAT kind of mom" than the other...keep it up! Really enjoy reading through your blog & I'll be back!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment on my blog. I enjoyed checking yours out today and while I'm not exactly preppy now, I too spent many hours pouring over "The Preppy Handbook" I also recently scored a "Vineyard Vines" fleece jacket with the $125 price tag still attached at Goodwill for $3.50 so perhaps I'm a preppy wannabe! I'll be back to check out our blog again!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the award sweet girl!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the award!!! it is fun to learn some little this's and that's about our blogging friends...and since you are new to my world...I really enjoyed this. Curtsied hey? now that is something I have never done! Make website india
