Preppy Day #2

TOPH (The Official Preppy Handbook) ruled my life until I wrote my own. Please take the challenge with me. I open the book, read something and see if it still applies and if so do I fit the bill. Now that I live in New Jersey I fear I've slipped. I used to live on the Main Line--now I've discovered I live in ML New Jersey--that counts right? They have the same initials.  So from ML  here we go............

"Looking, acting, and ultimately being Prep is not restricted to an elite minority lucky enough to attend prestigious private schools, just because an ancestor or two happened to arrive here on the Mayflower. You don't even have to be a registered Republican. In a true democracy everyone can be upper class and live in Connecticut. It's only fair."




JM dress I wore to dinner with Husband! You can't see but I'm wearing signet earrings.

    Take it from someone who does live in Conntecticut... yeah, ML NJ does count! Especially so when dressed head to toe in your "ensembles"! And your comments, by the way, had me HOWLING!

    Hello there. Haven't been blogging past week, tres busy! LOL! Too funny, but Mr. Boston and I made headway on cleaning out and organizing our basement, while a mob of kids played a baseball game in our backyard. Perfect because, no one bothered us and we got so much done! I went thru a bin containing a collection of my college books. Lo and behold, I found the most coveted book; TOPH, of course!
    What a gem!
