Hello and happy 4th of July
As I mentioned in a previous blog I LIVE in yacht clubs and am a regatta mother. A typical day--get the boat off the trailers. Greye rigs it. Put the boat on a dolly and drag to launch site. Check in at registration desk. Sit around and wait. Skippers meeting. Make sure son has eaten lunch while he ignores me. Watch Greye sail out and try to take pictures, while he dies of embarrassment. Sit around for 3 hours while he sails, and I can't even see him. Get the boat out of water, rinsed off, de-rigged and back onto trailer. Pack the car. Sit around and wait. Awards ceremony. 11 hours later arrive home.
But when I go to The Ocean City Yacht Club on Friday night for the races....I'm in regatta wear
Vineyard Vine dress, miss trish of capri shoes
